Nsembe Technologies has launched the minimum viable product of ZBIIP, the Zambia Biodiversity Intelligence & Investment Platform, now live at zbiip.online.
ZBIIP is designed and built by Nsembe to help green and biodiversity projects in Zambia present themselves to investors with credible, consistent and traceable information.
How it works
Project owners submit their project once, citing a source for every figure. ZBIIP then runs only the assessment engines that apply to the project, based on its archetype: physical goods producers, carbon and ecosystem service projects, platforms and digital services, or community and landscape programmes.
The platform has twelve engines, covering investment readiness, financial modelling, ESG, biodiversity, carbon, biodiversity credits, green finance taxonomy, natural capital, green growth and IFRS S1 and S2 disclosures. The output is a readiness scorecard, a complete pitch deck and a full business model, with every number traceable to its source.
Who it is for
Assessment tools are free for project owners, who can choose to list their project for investors. Investors get standardised project reports through a portal, with access by invitation.
